Black Eyed Peas pull a Kanye..

It's been quite a while since we anything from the Black Eyed Peas. Back together after pursuing their respective solo careers (really just Fergie, but good effort will.i.am, maybe next time), the Peas are ready to start making music again.

The first single off their upcoming album The E.N.D., "Boom Boom Pow" definitely lives up to it's name. Chock fulla Autotune (ergo T-Pain and Kanye), this track will absolutely make the clubs go "BOOM!"

There's even a shout out to Kanye and Daft ("harder, faster, better, stronger)!! I guess that's kinda like them saying "WE WANNA BE LIKE KANYE!" Not a huge fan of will.i.am's choppy flow, but it's a fire song nonetheless.

Danity who?

First out the gate, we have the fellas from Making the Band 4. DAY26 is fresh off their smash hit debut self-titled album, making new music, and they aren't messing around. Sampled on last weeks season premiere (yes, there's another season of this ish) these two tracks are undeniably better than anything else they've ever done.

First up is "So Good". Sounding like something straight from artists like Silk and 112, DAY26 is going for that infamous "baby making sound" with this sure to be smash.

On the opposite side of the spectrum we have "Stadium Music", a hard hitting, rock infused R&B track. Equipped with a ear-melting guitar line, standard electronic drums, and some incredible five part harmony, this banger is a shoe in for those summer playlists of yours.

It's been a while..

What's goin on music junkies? I know, I know, it's been forever since I've updated. Don't hang me out to dry just yet, it won't happen again.

So I'm back, and HOLY HELL do I have some freshly squeezed tracks for you. The summer music is just about to hit the scene, and you're gonna hear it here first. Club bumpin, bass thumpin, high energy tracks, just in time to make some bad decisions this summer ;]

And heeeeere we go..

Oh, PS - Chris Brown is wikkity wikkity wack..

Her "Lip Gloss" ain't the only thing that's poppin..

Her music is too. In a surprisingly poppy track, Lil Mama prepares to get back in the music spotlight after her ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew, duh) fame. It actually took me a few times to realize that it really WAS Lil Mama, both singing and rapping.

Check out "Diva"..

Tell me, tell me why you keep lookin over here..

Ft. Lauderdale unknown, Casely, is doing big things nowadays. After a flop of a single about a year ago, this R&B newbie is hitting it hard with his new single "So Soft". 1985, is Casely's first album since being signed to Epic Records in 2007.

Ciara and Chris go Bollywood..

Said to be a track off the much anticipated album Fantasy Ride, "Turntables" is a "hot like fire" dance track featuring Ciara and Chris Brown. Sampling a 1995 Bollywood movie, the dynamic duo take it to the clubs with this soon to be smash hit.

Freshly Squeezed

There is SO MUCH good music coming up in the next few weeks. In fact, there is so much, I've decided to just throw together a crash course in New Music 101 (February 1st Edition).

First up, we're saying "Goo Goo" for GaGa. The overnight hit "Just Dance" has set this Yonkers native pop prodigy up for an incredible career. Check out the latest single "Kaboom" off her debut album, The Fame, in stores now. GaGa brings the fire with this explosive dance track. (get it? fire? explosive? kaboom?).

Next up, the late, great, Lisa Left Eye Lopes. Preparing to release Lopes' first posthumous album, her family (under the guidance of Surefire Music Group) has paired their angel up with R&B heavyhitter Bobby Valentino to make "In The Life". After being pushed back about 5 times, Left Eye's album, Eye Legacy, is set for release January 27th of this year.

More to come..
