Apparently Akon's into more trouble..

As much as I can't stand Akon, I have to give him props for his new song "Troublemaker" featuring the ladies of Sweet Rush. Ch-Ch-Checkitouttt.

Introducing Marga Lane

Introducing Marga Lane Rojas, a sultry singer/songwriter from New York who is hitting the scene harder than ever with two new blazing tracks. Armed with a killer voice, great writing and skilled production, Marga's sound is sure to make an impact, both on your iPod, and on the industry.

"Curiosity" is a fast paced dance track that sounds like something produced by Timbaland's protege Floyd "Danja" Hills. This song offers a little of something for everyone, including great vocals, a driving beat, and a bridge that is sure to pump you up. Ch-ch-check it.

Next we have "All Better Now". If I didn't know better, I'd think I was listening to a track off Lady Gaga's new album The Fame. Give it a listen, let me know what you think!

UPDATE: Marga Lane will be opening for Philadelphia natives, Valencia @ Northeastern University on Friday, December 5th, 2008 in afterHOURS. Doors are at 8:30pm and the show is NU ID + 1. This is definitely a show you do not want to miss.

What?! Rihanna's checking into rehab?!

Just for her new single of course. "Rehab" is a track off Rihanna's last album Good Girl Gone Bad, written and produced by none other than Justin Timberlake. Justin makes a cameo in the video, released tonight for the first time on FNMtv. Give it a watch.

Making waves, outside the "Real World"

Real World Hollywood alum and hometown honey (GO Philly) Brianna Taylor is making waves even after her stint on the crazy reality show. With a pop/rock sound and a smokey Newport voice, Brianna Taylor is definitely not what the industry is used to. Think P!NK, but less angry. "Summertime" was actually released back in May, but it's taken until now to catch the ear of the public.

Check it out.

Chris Brown. Incredible.

Chris Brown is pretty much unstoppable. He's back with another baby maker (of the same school as his last single "Take You Down"). "Believer" has landed on the scene, instant hit in my book.

Also, check out Chris Brown's cameo on "Freeze" off of T-Pain's new album Thr33 Ringz (in stores now).

Schizophrenia, party of one ?

Fresh off the her upcoming double-disc album I am.. Sasha Fierce, Beyonce, and her alter ego Sasha (wacko), have leaked two brand new tracks. The first, "Radio" is definitely poised for success with an irresistibly driving beat and one kick ass metaphor.

Next, we have "Diva", produced by non other than the Lil Wayne famed "Milli-licious", Mr. Bangladesh. Taking a page right out of "A Milli" (literally, you'll see), Beyonce get's down and dirty in what is sure to be the next huge anthem for ladies out there.

Panic, sans the "!"

Completely unlike their last album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, Panic makes a comeback with a more stripped down sound. "Northern Downpour" is the second single of their new album Pretty. Odd.

Okay, so maybe this isn't "new"...

...but it's an incredible song, fairly new and fairly unknown. So hmph.

"Broken Strings" by James Morrison featuring Nelly Furtado from his new album Songs for You, Truths for Me.

JT Leaks "Magic"

Justin Timbaland.. urgh, I mean.. Timberlake, has leaked his first single off his upcoming album. "Magic" is a track produced by Scandinavian songsters, Stargate (best known for their work with Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Trey Songz, and Jay-Z, just to name a few). "Magic" is a total dance track, complete with a whipping drumline, funk guitar, and synth licks for days.

If you're a fan of old Justin, like back in the "Rock Your Body" days, then you'll love "Magic" for sure.

Give it a spin.

Kanye, you fail. Again.

Yet another Kanye West track has surfaced. "See You In My Nightmares" is a track produced by Mr. West featuring none other than the Lollipoppin, Milli Droppin, Lil' Wayne. To put this nicely, Kanye is making it very difficult for his fans to like him, and his new material. It's all the same. Monotonous. Boring.

Mediocrity is not what we're used to seeing from our boy Kanye. What happened to the "Stronger" Kanye we used to know?!

Bring him back!

Ex NSYNCer is "Dead and Gone"

Pretty far from his days in the Mickey Mouse Club huh?

Justin Timberlake lays down some vocals on T.I.'s hip-hopera ballad "Dead and Gone" off his new album Papertrail (in stores now).

UPDATE: T.I. also has a killer song on Papertrail featuring the one and only Usher. The song is called "My Life Your Entertainment". Saying this track is incredible doesn't do it justice. Definitely single worthy!

Check it.

Hand Picked - So THIS is why Craig David can't sleep!

ATTENTION TWO STEPPERS!
CRAIG DAVID IS BACK!

Photobucket

"Insomnia" is Craig David's flagship single off his Greatest Hits album due out in 2 weeks. Produced by "Timbaland-schooled" Jim Beanz, "Insomnia" has blazing synths and an infectious thumping bassline that is sure to please the club gang.

This track isn't due out until Nov. 17th so be "that kid" and tell everyone you know about it. Major cool points.

To put it simply, if Chris Brown's "Forever" and Neyo's "Closer" had a little music baby, it would be Craig David's "Insomnia".

Nuff said?

Freshly Squeezed - Britney's "Killin" It

Photobucket

With the highly anticipated release of her sixth studio album aptly titled Circus, the grown up pop-tart has released another single.

"Kill The Lights" is an upbeat dance track that is sure to please you pop fans out there. Reuniting with her Blackout prominent producer, Danja, Brit kicks it into overdrive with this sure to be smash hit.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-check it out.

Freshly Squeezed - Kanye does it again (literally)

Kanye West's new sound seems to be a bit robotic these days. With the upcoming release of his new album 808s & Heartbreak, the self proclaimed king of hip hop has found a sound, and apparently is stickin' to it. T-Pain's been using the droid-like Autotune sound for a few years now. Do something different Kanye.

His latest release "Amazing" (featuring Young Jeezy), while an awesome track, sounds a lot like his first single "Love Lockdown". You be the judge.
