Still sweet like Sugar..

Fresh off her Flo-Ridin "Sugar" high, Wynter Gordon is gearing up to take the R&B/Pop scene by storm. "Renegade" sounds like a Europop dance track. Think Kid Cudi beats meet Keri Hilson. It has a real "feel-good" quality to it and it's definitely worth a spin or two.

As for the album, Wynter Wonderland, well, you'll just have to wait till later in the summer to grab that one.

Get down, get down, come on, come on..

It's been quite some time since we've heard from Ginuwine. But have no fear, he's "Pony"ing up with his latest single to hit the net. "Get Involved" is a total club track, with a 70's Motown funk guitar feeling, featuring none other than Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and Timbaland.

Ginuwine's 6th studio album, A Man's Thoughts is due out TODAY June 2nd, 2009! While you're waiting for the album to download, check out "Get Involved"..

Better go and get your armor..

..because this American Idol is not messing around. The former "airy" songstress has gone for a more edgy sound in her first single "Battlefield" off her sophomore album of the same name. With the hard hitting drum track, a haunting piano lick, and Jordin's killer vocals, this song has all the ingredients to battle its way to #1 on the charts.

Introducing Esmee Denters..

As the flagship artist on Justin Timberlake's new record label, Tennman Records (in association with Interscope Records), Esmee Denters has all the tools to take the pop world by storm. Hailing from The Netherlands, this powerful little poptart was discovered by JT himself on her YouTube Channel, where she would cover songs by artists like Brandy and Mariah Carey. Check out her first official single "Outta Here" off of her debut album of the same name.

It's me bitches..

Yea, I know.. It's been 370 years since I've updated my blog. My apologies. I've been up to some pretty interesting stuff the past two months. Pretty much, I've been working on my own songwriting, with a friend of mine. Hopefully I'll have something of my very own to post within the next couple weeks. Other than that, I've been doing a lot of traveling and just basically living life. I haven't done stuff for myself in so long, it feels so great. I'm going to try and post more often, I know you all need your fix.

Orange Music Group is back in full effect. chYeA!

Flo Rida? More like Flo Jocka..

Flo Rida just can't seem to come up with his own stuff these days. Wutzamatta man? Running out of ideas? Flo Rida samples Eiffel 65's "I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee)" in his latest trash hit, "Sugar" featuring Wynter Gordon.

Check out this craptastrophe..

Black Eyed Peas pull a Kanye..

It's been quite a while since we anything from the Black Eyed Peas. Back together after pursuing their respective solo careers (really just Fergie, but good effort will.i.am, maybe next time), the Peas are ready to start making music again.

The first single off their upcoming album The E.N.D., "Boom Boom Pow" definitely lives up to it's name. Chock fulla Autotune (ergo T-Pain and Kanye), this track will absolutely make the clubs go "BOOM!"

There's even a shout out to Kanye and Daft ("harder, faster, better, stronger)!! I guess that's kinda like them saying "WE WANNA BE LIKE KANYE!" Not a huge fan of will.i.am's choppy flow, but it's a fire song nonetheless.

Danity who?

First out the gate, we have the fellas from Making the Band 4. DAY26 is fresh off their smash hit debut self-titled album, making new music, and they aren't messing around. Sampled on last weeks season premiere (yes, there's another season of this ish) these two tracks are undeniably better than anything else they've ever done.

First up is "So Good". Sounding like something straight from artists like Silk and 112, DAY26 is going for that infamous "baby making sound" with this sure to be smash.

On the opposite side of the spectrum we have "Stadium Music", a hard hitting, rock infused R&B track. Equipped with a ear-melting guitar line, standard electronic drums, and some incredible five part harmony, this banger is a shoe in for those summer playlists of yours.

It's been a while..

What's goin on music junkies? I know, I know, it's been forever since I've updated. Don't hang me out to dry just yet, it won't happen again.

So I'm back, and HOLY HELL do I have some freshly squeezed tracks for you. The summer music is just about to hit the scene, and you're gonna hear it here first. Club bumpin, bass thumpin, high energy tracks, just in time to make some bad decisions this summer ;]

And heeeeere we go..

Oh, PS - Chris Brown is wikkity wikkity wack..

Her "Lip Gloss" ain't the only thing that's poppin..

Her music is too. In a surprisingly poppy track, Lil Mama prepares to get back in the music spotlight after her ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew, duh) fame. It actually took me a few times to realize that it really WAS Lil Mama, both singing and rapping.

Check out "Diva"..

Tell me, tell me why you keep lookin over here..

Ft. Lauderdale unknown, Casely, is doing big things nowadays. After a flop of a single about a year ago, this R&B newbie is hitting it hard with his new single "So Soft". 1985, is Casely's first album since being signed to Epic Records in 2007.

Ciara and Chris go Bollywood..

Said to be a track off the much anticipated album Fantasy Ride, "Turntables" is a "hot like fire" dance track featuring Ciara and Chris Brown. Sampling a 1995 Bollywood movie, the dynamic duo take it to the clubs with this soon to be smash hit.

Freshly Squeezed

There is SO MUCH good music coming up in the next few weeks. In fact, there is so much, I've decided to just throw together a crash course in New Music 101 (February 1st Edition).

First up, we're saying "Goo Goo" for GaGa. The overnight hit "Just Dance" has set this Yonkers native pop prodigy up for an incredible career. Check out the latest single "Kaboom" off her debut album, The Fame, in stores now. GaGa brings the fire with this explosive dance track. (get it? fire? explosive? kaboom?).

Next up, the late, great, Lisa Left Eye Lopes. Preparing to release Lopes' first posthumous album, her family (under the guidance of Surefire Music Group) has paired their angel up with R&B heavyhitter Bobby Valentino to make "In The Life". After being pushed back about 5 times, Left Eye's album, Eye Legacy, is set for release January 27th of this year.

More to come..

Home sweet pop..

A long way from the embittered rock that was My December, Kelly Clarkson is back where she belongs, making kick ass pop records. "My Life Would Suck Without You" is the flagship single off the original American Idol's upcoming record, All I Ever Wanted, set for release March 17th of this year.

Taking a page out of the "Since U Been Gone" chapter of her life (literally, the similarities are uncanny), Kelly breaks back on the pop scene after a year and a half hiatus with a song chock'fulla amped up guitar and tamborine shakin.

Rihanna's a real "Bad Girl"..

Riri's been pretty busy as of late working on her next studio album, due out this year. "Bad Girl" is the latest track to be leaked on the net, featuring none other than her "good friend" R&B crooner Chris Brown. Produced by the famed Polow Da Don, Rihanna and Chris knock it out of the park with a simple 808 beat and one angry sound byte.

Check out Chris Brown's rap game on this track. It's not every day that C-Breezy lays down a verse, but he's rumored to be doing a lot of rapping on his new upcoming album Graffiti (also due out this year).

Busta, Missy, and NeYo are "Freakin You"

Three hip hop heavy hitters join forces to bring you a blazin partystarter. "Freakin You" is a track off Busta Rhymes' ninth studio album and first album with label Universal Motown, Back On My B.S., set to drop some time in 2009.

"You spin my head right round.."

In today's industry, sampling is no rare occurrence. However, it is rare that an artist blatantly samples a song, but dodges the copyright bullet by changing the words. In Flo Rida's recently leaked track "Right Round", he is clearly sampling "You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)", a track off Dead or Alive's 1985 album Youthquake.

What do you think?

Either way, it's an awesome song and will most likely do well if released.

Also, check out another new track from Flo Rida called "Touch Me"

BIG IN 2009!

I hope you all had a rockin time ringing in the New Year last night. While many of you are still sleeping off that bottle of champagne, I figured I would share a few predictions for the coming year.

Timbaland - Shock Value: Volume 2 - slotted for a February 12th release, will be one of the biggest sellers of the year, with rumored cameos by huge acts like Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliot, Madonna, Jay-Z, the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, Jordin Sparks and many others.

Missy Elliot - Block Party - also scheduled for release in February is Missy Elliot's eighth studio album. The album will feature production by some of the hottest producers in the game right now including Timbaland, Danja, Pharrel, and T-Pain.

Justin Timberlake - UNTITLED - As of right now, 2 new tracks have been leaked on the web. The first is "Magic" (see below). And the second, featuring T.I. and titled "If I", was just leaked a few days ago. After listening to these two songs, it sounds like the former hit-maker is heading towards a more funk inspired sound. I'm not a huge fan of it, but check out "If I"..

This year is defintely going to be huge. Hope you're all as pumped as I am. Also watch out for new albums from Usher, Chris Brown, Ludacris, Rihanna, Jazmine Sullivan, Prince, Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger (if it ever gets finished), Eminem, Outkast, and Kelly Clarkson.
